The impact of the South American productivity in regional


Abstract:

South American productivity has been related to the regional trade in all the stages of integration. As productivity is insufficient, it is not possible to avoid imports, while the benefit of the exports is limited. To improve South American productivity would affect more than proportionally in regional trade. In this paper, we proved the hypothesis. We used 138 observations of productivity of every country, duty-free goods and the regional trade. The result is positive. Major levels of productivity generate increases South American trade.
