The influence of educational districts in the teaching work in Carchi, Ecuador


Abstract:

According to the National Institute of Educational Evaluation (INEVAL), in the years 2013, 2014 and 2015 the schools of the province of Carchi obtained the highest averages in the tests of SER ESTUDIANTE. This research focused on the institutional architecture and its influence on obtaining high marks. The research is descriptive-analytic. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of 27 interviews with Carchi teachers related to the institutional architecture was carried out. It was found that many teachers are unaware of the functions of the new organization of the education system that still does not seem to be fulfilling its objectives.
