The influence of the hamburger strategy in written proficiency of b1. 1 students
Abstract:
This research project was carried out with the Second year of Bachillerato students from Patria Ecuatoriana High School, 2020-2021 school year. It focuses on written production as it is one of the linguistic competences in which students have difficulties, and its purpose was to determine the influence of The Hamburger strategy to improve writing skills. Due to the global health emergency because of COVID-19, the institution adapted to the online modality, two instruments to collect information were used, an interview to the teacher using ZOOM, and the student survey through Google Forms, and whose results confirmed the existence of a problem in the written proficiency. Based on the analysis of the results, it concludes that the design of a booklet with activities for the development of writing skills would Benefit both students and teachers, since it provides a graphic organizer as a structure with writing exercises to strengthen writing skills.
