The knowledge economy and research: operative axis of linkage between business, university and society.


Abstract:

This study focuses on the links between business, academia and society as key strategic parts of the knowledge economy. The analysis focuses on the existing global debate on the issue, which is increasingly converging on the role of complexity, uncertainty and the existing transformations in the world. It is demonstrated that today a new organization of work coupling and balancing economic, social, cultural, educational and regulatory factors have allowed the generation of proposals for strengthening research, linking business, university and society, where the role of universities and the state is fundamental to promote the development of countries.
