The media capitalism; the new capitalism? An empirical approach


Abstract:

Today, we are living in the age called “late capitalism,” where the post-Fordism modes of production and information capitalism are behind us. This new capitalism, expressed in the advanced and developing economies, focused on internet and media as a means of reproduction and accumulation of capital. Without doubt, media content that reflects the global culture on the internet has changed consumer behavior. One principle that controls this scenario is the standardization of the consumer. It has become apparent that the cultural-makers from the Northern hemispheric countries settle the criteria of globalism by widening communication and media content. The following article, seek can give an insight to the capitalism that comes for the next second quarter of the 21st century.
