The most effective methods of dust control at Crispin Mine

Abstract:

The appropriate selection of methods to fight dust is a real problem on working at Crispin Mine. The effective solution of this problem (dust control) enables the increase of the production volume under safe condition. The results of a careful study of methods to fight dust as well as the research carried out to select the best and most effective way of dust control at Crispin Mine are presented in this paper in the form of a system. The use of two variants of exploitation methods is the result of this research. These variants enable to avoid the presence of dust using ventilation as a mean of dust control. The injection scheme is used to diminish dust concentration and for the same purpose, in the power source, water is spread.
