The new internet television income systems: Theoretical foundation for the development of an expert system based on knowledge


Abstract:

The new media ecosystem is imposing a current television paradigm. The emergence of modern competing agents, as well as the appearance of a recent audiovisual consumer and the exploitation of new screens irreversibly modifies and rethinks the structure and business models of generalist chains around the world. The traditional television industry advocates the introduction of formulas that advance towards cross-platform streaming consumption and content customization. The main questions to answer are how television stations are adapting to this digital environment and what are the aspects and elements to be taken into account to determine the ability to monetize Internet television. Through a bibliographic review, the present study reflects on the appropriate analysis indicators to determine the income models of Internet television. This work precedes and bases the bases for the creation of a Knowledge Based System (SBC) that allows to determine the existing exploitation models in generalist television.
