The practice of values towards a culture of peace in public and private companies of Ecuador
Abstract:
The organizations are also schools of peace, commitment, social coexistence and well-being, which is reflected in the culture and working environment. However, in Ecuador, the management of the values of peace is not yet being strategically articulated in the construction of identity and corporate culture. In this scenario, the present investigation is born with the objective of determining the business practice of values that foster the culture of peace in Ecuador. A mixed methodology was established, divided into two phases. In the first one, the in-depth interview was used, in order to know the opinion of Latin American and European experts on the subject, who allowed to establish the basic guidelines for the elaboration of the survey applied in the second stage. The results obtained showed the panorama of the practice of values that build a culture of peace, in different business sectors and their insertion in the corporate culture.
