The research competences of the university teacher
Abstract:
This work offers a descriptive and documentary study that allows the analysis of the types of theoretical positions on the research competence of university teachers published in papers from journals indexed in Google Scholar in the period of 2006-2017. A total of 15 scientific papers were analyzed. The results show, on one hand, that the investigative competence of the university teacher is a topic of scientific interest worldwide, which reveals its relevance as an object of study and, on the other hand, there is a limited presence of references that allow to found a theoretical systematization of the investigative competence of the university teacher. The results obtained reveal the main theoretical positions assumed for the study of research competence as a contribution to scientific theory in Education Sciences.
