The objective is to analyze the situation of the right to health during the COVID-19 pandemic in Ecuador; in its develo-pment, an exploratory research approach based on the interpretative method was executed, which allowed the collection of the necessary information based on the thematic; thus concluding that the poor management of the pandemic by the corresponding authorities and the omission of both national and international norms in relation to the right to health allowed the collapse of the State’s Health System.
