The role of management in educational outcomes

Abstract:

This research analyzes the practices of the managers of the public schools of Carchi-Ecuadorwho obtained the best averages in the tests SER ESTUDIANTE 2015. The objective is to characterize the activities carried out by the principals of these schools. The research is framed in a descriptivequalitative approach. The main findings show that managers privilege pedagogical work over administrative work and focus their efforts on support, monitoring and advice in the teachinglearning tasks of the teacher.
