The self-dual supermembrane and the super-Toda molecule
Abstract:
The self-dual light-cone supermembrane in 4+1 dimensions is shown, using two methods, to be equivalent to the super-Toda molecule for SU(N), in the N → ∞ limit, and for the minimal SU(2) embedding in SU(N). In this fashion, by a suitable dimensional reduction procedure, the self-dual light-cone supermembrane, the super -Liouville model and the super-Toda molecule are all interrelated for this minimal SU(2) embedding in SU(N). © 1992.
