The skills of visomotriz and viso-space coordination for the learning of writing


Abstract:

In the present article the relationship that exists in the development of visomotor coordination skills and the learning of writing was considered; having as objective to determine the degree of development of the visomotriz coordination of the children of basic education to execute a plan of psychoeducational strategies that allow them to reach the necessary abilities for the learning of the writing. The study was conducted in a particular educational unit, located in the north of the city of Guayaquil. The methodology used was descriptive and interpretative for the collection of the information; the techniques of observation, interview and survey were used, as well as the Beery-Buktenica psychometric test. The results reflect a predominance in the average performance, followed by a low and very low performance. Visual-motor coordination involves controlled movement activities, using the manual oculus simultaneously processes, being fundamental for children to achieve legible and satisfactory writing.
