The studentification process and its approach from a geographical point of view: state of the art and research agenda

Abstract:

The study of student dynamics and their effects on certain neighbourhoods is a topic that has gained ground in geography since the beginning of the 21st century. This manuscript constitutes a state of the question about the studentification process, proposing new lines of research that from geography contribute to a multi-scale approach to this phenomenon. To do this, it carries out an exhaustive review of the literature, connecting it with broader territorial and urban processes and proposing some lines of future work with the aim of opening up this field of research to new, broader perspectives.
