The system approach, cornerstone for effective investigative management. Case of Bahia de Caraquez

Abstract:

The research was developed in the university extension of the ULEAM of Bahia de Caraquez covering a period of four years. The objective was to elaborate a procedure to implement the systemic approach in the management of the research process and to increase the effectiveness of said process in the Extension. The descriptive method allowed the use of qualitative and quantitative tools, such as the Delphi expert method, the Onate Ramos expert selection methodology, the Kendall method and the brainstorm. A procedure was developed to implement the system approach in the management of research, determining the shortcomings that affected the management. Projects are selected as the integrating activity of the substantive processes of university management.
