The technologies and the individual commitment of self-help on risks to develop diabetes in older adults
Abstract:
This article presents a review of the use of new technologies that measure diabetes, which is a disease where the level of blood sugar is increased, with an increasing prevalence, with impairment of the quality of life of the person. Determine the use and perceptions towards information and communication technologies (ICT), in older adults, in the neighborhood October 18 Machala. Ecuador 2018-2019 year. 260 people from a study population were evaluated to 880 older adults, from 65 years to 79 years of age, living in the neighborhood October 18. We proceeded to the processing of data from various statistical techniques to obtain results that allow us to reach the pertinent conclusions and recommendations. They indicate that the use of new technologies, carried out on diabetes, is presented as a feasible and well accepted technology.
