The training of competent and innovative professionals through the use of active methodologies


Abstract:

The research was carried out from a theoretical analysis of the main primary bibliographic sources that address the variables teacher education and its application of active methodologies with the use of ICT in Higher Education, for this the analyticalsynthetic and inductive deductive methods were used. From the empirical point of view, a characterization of the current curriculum was carried out in the three careers of education in the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Education Sciences, of the University of Guayaquil. In this sense, the document analysis method and the survey were used to know the opinion of the students. Finally, it should be noted that, from the diagnosis, approach, execution and evaluation of this proposal, to apply the active methodologies in higher education improve the placing of the student at the center of the teaching and learning process and articulating the different elements that make up the training experience through ICT.
