The σ-sibling numbers

Abstract:

In this article, through the divisor function σ (n), n∈ N, we define a new class of numbers, which we call the class of σ-sibling numbers of n. We study some properties of these classes. In particular, we show that the set of these classes has cardinality ℵ0 and containing a new subclass of prime numbers denoted by p∗.
