Theory of Games and Entrepreneurship
Abstract:
This paper aimed to analyze a hypothetical case of a possible alliance between two entrepreneurs applying the theory of games in order to have practical cases that could be used to train potential entrepreneurs. The method used consisted of simulating a game between two participants (microentrepreneurs) with the following characteristics: Two participants. Entrepreneurs E1 and E2. Both are dedicated to the sale and repair of cell phones. Both refer that they decided to create their businesses to: be their own bosses, create a business with prospects of market participation, and analyze the possibility of alliance based on that they have known for some time. The general characteristics of each business were agreed upon. Possible strategic and operational agreements were made and the decision tree for the game was made.
