Tiempos estándar y modelización de procesos de ensamblaje: televisores y tarjetas electrónicas usando programación no lineal y BPMN

Abstract:

In the productive processes, competitiveness referring to the production times is an important factor in order to meet business objectives. The conception of suitable methods for determining standard times in assembly lines can be done using formal approaches that could be mathematically grounded, or by empirical approaches, inspired in measurements or observations. This article proposes a mathematical optimization model based on the minimization of a non-linear objective function, for estimation of standard times with a minimum error from an angle of variance analysis, ANOVA, in comparison from the results obtained with respect to those achieved with a conventional methodology. Validation of results are also presented using two case studies of assembly lines of televisions and electronic cards. Finally, in order to provide a better understanding of these cases studies, in terms of inputs, outputs and processes, the corresponding business process models are developed for the strategic, operational and support levels, and the standard times are calculated using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
