Title: Dimensions of the satisfaction of university students in online education in times of pandemic in Ecuador

Abstract:

This article analyzes the dimensions that influence university student satisfaction in online education in times of Covid-19 pandemic in Ecuador. Six dimensions that influence student satisfaction were defined and a Likert-type survey was applied to 9185 students of the Quevedo State Technical University period 2020-2021. The methods used were descriptive and exploratory and cross-sectional. A factor analysis was performed, using a Varimax rotation. The identified dimensions explain 70.09% of the total variance, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.987 and 0.985 the KMO statistic, Bartlett’s test reported values of 308616.680 Chi square and 515 gl. It is evident the validity and reliability of the scale of the applied survey and that the dimensions that contribute most to student satisfaction are the student-content interaction, student-teacher relationship and the use of technological resources.
