Análisis teórico del impacto del brexit en la economía ecuatoriana
Abstract:
The 'brexit' refers to the process of leaving the United Kingdom from the European Union, as decided by the British citizens in a referendum in June 2016.The IMF and other international financial institutions have already warned after knowing the result of the referendum that leaving the United Kingdom would have a great impact on an already fragile global economy In the Latin American case, we must start by saying that the region's trade with the British economy is limited. And British investment in Latin America, while important for some countries, generally does not have the size of flows from other countries such as the United States. But in the last six decades, Latin American trade with the British has fallen in relative terms.Among the Latin American economies, Ecuador demands a large number of technology and automobile producers from the British Isles. In 2018, imports into the United Kingdom consolidated over $ 157 million. While exports to the United Kingdom were consolidated at 187 million. And that the main products are based on primary sectorConsequently, the analysis of this research work is based on the trade balance maintained by the two countries and how the effect will be felt after or before of Brexit
