Towards inclusive development: SDG as an articulator axis in the formation of local leaders

Abstract:

A descriptive analysis of the process of training local leaders in terms of transformational leadership and local development is conducted. The MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) and a rubric for the evaluation of a project profile based on the SDOs were administered to a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 88 participants from four cities. The results show that leaders are considered transformational and a small part laissez-faire. In the project profile, the participants showed an outstanding and notable performance in its majority. The participants showed great potential as leaders for local inclusive development.
