Transformaci?n de la realidad: condici?n indispensable para reinventar la universidad latinoamericana y del caribe

Abstract:

Pensar y hacer educaci?n desde el Buen Vivir es atreverse a criticar a la modernidad. Pensar y hacer la educaci?n desde el buen vivir es ya no pensarla en t?rminos modernos. La educaci?n debe vencer la locura del todo poderoso, siempre estamos en el peligro de la locura educativa, por el riesgo de la manipulaci?n, y confundir la educaci?n con la fabricaci?n. La educaci?n es aprender a hacer aquello que no sabemos hacer y para lograrlo se requiere de la libertad. Nosotros proponemos la transformaci?n como un principio que debe estar en la definici?n de la actual universidad, que en realidad no es nuevo, puesto que este principio existi? como emancipaci?n en la modernidad a pesar de su limitaci?n. La universidad contempor?nea debe estar erigida hoy para la transformaci?n. En el caso de la UNAE, el Buen Vivir es un significado que orienta la transformaci?n. Thinking and doing education from the Good Life is daring to criticize modernity. Thinking and doing education from good living is no longer thought of in modern terms. Education must overcome the madness of the Almighty, we are always in danger of educational madness, for the risk of manipulation, and to confuse education with manufacturing. Education is learning to do what we do not know how to do and to achieve it requires freedom. We propose transformation as a principle that must be in the definition of the present university, which in reality is not new, since this principle existed as emancipation in modernity despite its limitation. The Contemporary University must be erected today for transformation. In the case of UNAE, Good Living is a meaning that orients transformation.
