Transient model for pbkp_redicting nonhomogeneous nonequilibrium critical two-phase flows

Abstract:

The choking criterion for nonhomogeneous non-equilibrium two-phase flow has been obtained by solving the two-fluid conservation equations. The method of characteristics is employed to pbkp_redict the critical flow conditions. Numerical results revealed that the proposed model reliably pbkp_redicted the critical two-phase flow phenomenon and compared well with existing experimental data as well as with other analytical models.
