Tratamiento de recesiones gingivales con matriz dermica acelular

Abstract:

One of the principal objectives of periodontal plastic surgery is to cover the exposed root surface.When this condition causes stetic problems, dental hipersensibility, root caries, or difficult proper plaque removal. Some surgical techniques have been proposed for the correction of dental root exposition: Free gingival grafts, pedicle soft tissue grafts and bilaminar techniques. Guided tissue regeneration has been also proposed like other therapeutic alternative in the management of gingival recession. (ADMA) or acellular dermal matrix allograf, has been reported recently in periodontal literature, showing favorable clinic results in the coverage of gingival recessions. The objective on this review is to show the composition of AMDA, its characteristics, trajectory and mainly predictable of the acellular dermal matrix allograft and to compare with other techniques for covering gingival recessions.
