Treatment of health information in digital platforms Ecuador

Abstract:

This research studies the treatment of news related to health in Ecuador digital platforms. Through a content analysis of news items search was conducted in 2014 and 2015, with a total of 198. They are based on the issues of child malnutrition, tuberculosis and smoking. They are classified using a structured code: results media information content and overall qualification information in the Ecuadorian demographic environment. Our research establishes communication links health and the introduction of ICTs, causing a revolution in the development of all branches of science in general. The results highlight that the news items no explanatory scientific language is managed and pose no innovative content schemes. Our conclusion is that even the digital media, where recent communication pathways in society and not pose variety of options for the reader.
