Trends in corporate social responsibility in financial institutions in the south of Ecuador

Abstract:

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Ecuador and specifically in the Loja city, which is located in the south of the country, has a recent application, in order to know the level of perception of CSR in the financial sector, an approximate and experimental study was carried out, which aims to analyze the current situation around the application of CSR practices in four financial entities, whose headquarters are located in the study area. The research was carried out at Banco de Loja, Cooperativa Manuel Esteban Godoy (Coop-Mego), Cooperativa Padre Julián Lorente (Coop-PJL) and Cooperativa Cristo Rey (Coop-CR).
