Trituration of recycled tires as triggers in industrial process
Abstract:
The project was aimed to demonstrate the feasibility and viability of implementing an out-of-service tire treatment plant that contributes to the improvement of the environment in Ambato city. The purpose is to recycle out of use tires and undergo them to a crushing process in which its components such as rubber, steel and nylon are separated, in order to obtain granulated rubber as product. A market study was developed that allowed to know that product claimants are shoe factories from Ambato city. The technical study made it possible to select the mechanical production process, which is the least polluting. The project contributes to the ministerial agreement no. 098, which mentions about the" Instructive for the Management of Used Tires".
