Twitter and political communication: 20/21 Presidential pre-campaign and campaign's analysis in Ecuador
Abstract:
The present investigation addresses the topic about the social networks and political communication. The main objective was based on analyzing the use of politician's social networks during the Pre-campaign and the campaign during the presidential elections of Ecuador 2020 and 2021, through their official accounts. A qualitative approach of investigation was used, with the implementation of research instruments such as Nodex XLpro, Sparktoro, Metricool, applied to obtain: actual audience's measurements, hashtags, users, key works, follow social profiles and identify readers and account audiences. At the same time to analyze, to handle and measure accounts and their digital contents. The investigation's result exposed important information from the presidential candidates.
