University teaching skills in times of pandemic
Abstract:
This study has the purpose of analyzing the challenges in the emotional and procedural competencies of university teachers in times of pandemic. The research methodology is bibliographical documentary, a review of documents was made in databases such as Scielo, Dialnet and repositories of higher education institutions that address the variables under study. From hermeneutics, content analysis, interpretation and synthesis of theoretical contributions were applied. The results show that quality in university teaching is increasingly configured as a post-pandemic social requirement. It is concluded that the new challenges led teachers to review, update and acquire knowledge to promote, from being-knowing-doing, the training of new professionals; not only capable and fit for their professional practice, but men and women committed to creating a fairer, supportive, harmonious and equitable society.
