User requirements for incorporating diabetes modeling techniques in disease management tools
Abstract:
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is the most common form of diabetes. Early identification of people at risk of developing T2DM is extremely important, but the effectiveness of existing model is not clear as it is not clear the relative importance of the needs that such systems should satisfy. This paper presents the preliminary results of a study aiming to use the Analytic Hierarchic Process (AHP) to elicit user needs and to identify the software tools for T2DM that most successfully meet these needs.
