Using telemedicine platform for the strengthening of clinical competencies

Abstract:

In order to evaluate the perception of teachers and medical students about the use of telemedicine platform as a tool for strengthening of clinical skills, a descriptive, longitudinal, qualitative analysis and quantitative study, which included students enrolled designed Telemedicine in the subject for two academic period and teachers who responded and assessed the teleconsultation. As a result the perception of students and teachers about the utility, advantages and disadvantages of their use was obtained. It is conclude that the proper use of telemedicine platform contributes to the development of clinical skills.
