Using the Kinect sensor for angular analysis lower extremity of a human during down stairs
Abstract:
This project involves the acquisition and analysis of the angles formed by the joints of lower limbs of a human being lowered when the stands. To obtain angles was used Kinect sensor and using the C programming language in software Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express, it was possible to obtain the positions of the points of the foot, ankle, knee, hip and spine then apply trigonometry and get the angles formed by two lines by their slopes. For the process descending the stairs was the same building following the Mexican standard NOM-026-STPS-2008. The pattern was used to decrease step by step. A person who the tests measuring 1.73 m, has no injury or disability physics. Finally, the data obtained were processed for eliminate noise.
