Using various computer tools in electrical transients studies

Abstract:

This paper discusses different computer tools used to help teach electrical transients studies in undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering. The computer facilities and programs developed are discussed. The results of student surveys and the teaching staff's observations, are used to evaluate the usefulness of the different tools and determine their advantages and disadvantages.
