Utilidad de la procalcitonina en el diagnóstico temprano de corioamnionitis en embarazos con riesgo de parto pretérmino entre 28-36 semanas complicados con ruptura prematura de membranas en el Hospital Gineco-Obstétrico Enrique C. Sotomayor período 2013-2014

Abstract:

The objective of the present study It is going to be determine the purpose of the Procalcitonin (PCT) in diagnosing early chorioamnionitis in pregnancies with risk of preterm delivery among 28 - 36 weeks complicated with premature rupture of membranes in the Hospital Gineco-Obstetrical "Enrique C. Sotomayor" period 2013-2014. Study will be of type descriptive and observational and retrospective design which will meet a sample of at least 100 history clinics for patients that have completed with pregnancy preterm labor between 28 - 36 weeks complicated with premature rupture membranes entered in halls of intermediate care from the Hospital Gineco - obstetrical "Enrique C. Sotomayor" in the period 2013-2014 and to which you have been PCT. This study will show if the PCT for early diagnosis of infection in pregnancies complicated with premature rupture of membranes for the benefit of an average of 25 patients who are admitted in the Hospital Gineco-obstetrical monthly "Enrique C. Sotomayor". Generated information other comparative studies may be designed to determine whether the use of this early marker of sepsis should remain or must be replaced by a better performance in its indications, which speaks of the relevance of the work and the need that this occurs immediately.
