VENTRICULAR FIBRILLATION TIME-SERIES ANALYSIS.
Abstract:
Electrocardiography (ECG) and monophasic action potential (MAP) time series during ventricular fibrillation (VF) were obtained from dogs and rabbits. A fast computational procedure, based on Box and Jenkins time-domain analysis, was developed to obtain a positive model identification of VF and to forecast its possible values. The resulting models fall essentially within the category of second-order autoregressive (AR2) processes. MAPs exhibit model multiplicity with a pseudoperiodic series behavior, resulting in an AR (3) or ARIMA (2,1,0) second-model.
