Valoración de la conducta en niños de 3 a 5 años en los Centros de Desarrollo Infantil Chiquititos y Nenes de la ciudad de Gualaceo 2020

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: Behavior is a characteristic of each single person and is made up from the first years of life, behavior problems are a cause of concern for parents and educators, since children present inappropriate behaviors by not achieving their wishes, causing frustration to the people in their environment, problems in learning, development or other consequences in the future. Thus; the importance of assessing behavior in a timely manner, to intervene and get the child to modify his behavior. The Eyberg inventory is a questionnaire aimed at parents and teachers, who provide information on the behavior of infants in the last 3 months, allowing us to identify the presence of risk, with or without behavioralteration. General purpose: - Determine the behavior of children from 3 to 5 years old in the child development centers "Chiquititos" and "Nenes" of Gualaceo. Methodology Descriptive, prospective cross-sectional study; carried out with 87 children between 3 and 5 years old from the "Chiquititos" and "Nenes" child development centers, through an interview with parents or caretakers. For the processing and analysis of statistical data, the programs SPSS 2016 and Microsoft Excel 2016 were used; the results are shown in tables and graphs, percentages for quantitative data and frequencies for qualitative ones. Results: From the 63 parents interviewed, it was found that 46% of children belong to a range of 4 - 4 years 11 months of chronological age. Regarding sex; 49.2% belong to men and 50.8% to women. Regarding family functionality, 58.7% to functional family. Regarding the socioeconomic level, 73% corresponds to a typical average level.
