Valoración de la postura en los niños de la Escuela Fiscal Alberto Andrade Arízaga, Brummel; y Programa de Intervención Educativa, Cuenca 2010
Abstract:
This study: valuation of posture in boys and girls of the public school “Alberto Andrade Arízaga, Brummel” and educational intervention program was developed in 446 kids with the purpose of contributing to the development of knowledge, attitudes and healthy practices through the application of a postural evaluation, which allowed us to identify from a population that predominantly male, 70.18% of the studied universe present some kind of alteration of posture of which the most frequent are spine disorders like: kyphosis, scoliosis and lordosis. After the detection of postural alterations, We planned and implemented management and kinetic physiotherapy in children, along with the purpose to achieve the modification of attitudes directly related to poor postural habits, we developed some educational and communicative workshops on personal higene , healthy eating, body mechanics, physical activity, after pre application form caps to measure knowledge, attitudes and practices, resulting in a mostly bad in the beginning and then apply a post workshop caps, the values obtained were significantly improved, so that determined that educational interventions are of great importance in the field of health, the positive influence on the acquisition of healthy habits for the benefit of children and educational institution is encouraged trying to carry out periodic assessments of how postural to check the evolution of children for their physical and emotional conditions.
