Valoración de la postura en los niños(as) de la Escuela Fiscal Mixta Huayna Capac y, programa de intervención educativa. Cuenca 2012


Abstract:

This study type Participatory Action Research, aims to promote health and proper posture in tax school students mixed "Huayna Capac" city of Cuenca, for that purpose a postural assessment to children (as) first to seventh year of basic which determined the presence of abnormal posture, proper treatment was provided, and contributed to the development of knowledge, attitudes and healthy practices through hygiene and correct postural mechanics, turning the school into a space healthy and therefore manages the processes including the family and the community. This study explained how to apply the analysis of the position through postural assessment test, allowing the professional physiotherapist, quantitative and objective data. We used the Health Promotion and Prevention, using new tools such as the implementation of knowledge, attitudes and health practices, which helped the child (a) to prevent or reduce skeletal muscle imbalance problems, which was the main objective of this research.
