Valuation of using technology in the teaching of English

Abstract:

The effort of English teachers to motivate the learning of this language has led them to consider technology as an ally to energize the classes. This study seeks to highlight the importance of the use of new pedagogical-technological strategies in the professionals of the State Technical Universities of Quevedo and Los Andes Regional, Quevedo Campus. This study of quantitative-descriptive approach used a questionnaire that allowed to determine how much teachers know of applications that encourage the study of English and at the same time promote the autonomy of students, concluding that although teachers use programs in their classes, they do not know high impact applications such as Audio Boo, Blogger, Podomatic, Voice Thread, etc., suggested in this research.
