Violation of the rights of children and adolescents due to their migratory status in ecuador

Abstract:

The objective of this article is to analyze the violation of the rights of children and adolescents due to their migratory status in Ecuador. The type of research: documentary-descriptive, bibliographic documentary design, non-experimental transversal, techniques: documentary observation and legal hermeneutics. There are laws in the current Ecuadorian legal system that in theory protect these vulnerable groups, however, it is concluded that in certain circumstances constitutional rights inherent to their condition are violated, such as: the right to physical and psychological integrity, to their identity, name and citizenship, the right to recreation and to have a family and enjoy family and community coexistence, as well as the right to their integral development, among others.
