Virtual drums based on natural interaction

Abstract:

The paper presents the development of a virtual drums prototype, based on natural interaction, trough a Kinect device. Results of early tests are encouraging, but the prototype can definitively be improved. The project aims to serve as basis for future developments, and several projects are already undergoing at the School of Informatics Engineering of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso - Chile. © 2012 IEEE.
