Virtual environments from the ontology of new knowledge of higher education in times of covid-19 pandemic

Abstract:

This article is oriented to reflect on virtual environments from the Ontology of the new knowledge of Higher Education, from the collective hermeneutic perspective for the construction of theoretical contributions. An epistemic position is assumed from the post-positivist paradigm, under a qualitative approach through the phenomenological-hermeneutic method. For the study, four significant subjects who work as teachers and administrative personnel were selected, whose findings were interpreted through categorization, structuring, contrasting and theorizing. The theoretical approach was conceived in the development achieved by the advances in information and communication technology, which has had a significant impact on higher education, especially in curriculum planning, production of learning materials and the execution of instruction.
