Vocation to create companies and attitude, intention and entrepreneurial behavior in students of Ecuador


Abstract:

The attitude for entrepreneurial entrepreneurship is related to several factors such as education, social environment and vocational pbkp_redisposition. The present work aims to demonstrate the relationship between the attitude, intention and entrepreneurial behavior of the students of the Technical University of Ambato (Ecuador) with the creation of an entrepreneurial profile and to encourage the vocation of creating companies by the University. The research is descriptive correlational, which was conducted through surveys of 677 students of the upper courses of the careers of the Technical University of Ambato, in the semester October 2016-March 2017. Among the results it stands out that the hypothesis is contrasted that the attitude, intention and entrepreneurial behavior are decisive elements for the creation of companies, in the same way, most students have those three factors necessary to be an entrepreneur. Likewise, hypothesis contrast measures based on the Chi-square method were used, concluding that the three mentioned variables had a considerable influence on the creation of companies.
