Vulnerability studies: A contribution of Colombian engineering for the development ofterritories

Abstract:

Proper risk management is requisit or territorial development and integrity protection of Colombians, given its high exposure natural events mainly FLOOD ones and torrential floods. These events impact populations such as Pacho (Cundinamarca) and Acacias (Meta), where the assessment of the threat, as well as the vulnerability of its population, constitute a contribution demanded from civil engineering.
