WATER PACKAGING COMPANIES AND THEIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN SANTO DOMINGO DE LOS TSÁCHILAS. ECUADOR

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the management used by water bottling companies to provide better quality, ta-king as a reference what is suggested by the ISO 9001-2005 Standard. Companies should establish a Quality Management System, according to the needs of the business.We used the mixed method and descriptive bibliographic research, using interviews, surveys and documentary analysis, applying a descriptive scope, which showed that the implementation of the standard is needed in water bottling companies. After this, we obtained as a result that the business has an average level of staff participation. In addition, they need to comply with requirements for the implementation of the standard, and continuous improvements in customer focus and leadership of the staff.
