WATER POLLUTION IN THE JUJAN RIVER-ECUADOR


Abstract:

The Decentralized Autonomous Governments (GAD) play a fundamental role within the territory, so it is of great importance, the governments in turn must conduct a study that shows how the state is organized territorially, being protected by the Constitution. The environmental law is a very important branch of law in charge of the study of the laws that protect the envi-ronment, which serve to preserve it and reduce all kinds of pollution caused in it. However, there is evidence of water pollution in the Jujan River due to the lack of legal regulations of the GAD of the Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno canton. The objective of this research is to conduct a study on water pollution in the Jujan River. An exploration of the Quali-Quantitative modality is made from which it is possible to obtain the main findings on the phenomenon of study where it was possible to conclude that there is no regulation to reduce the existing pollution in the canton.
