Yield and quality of the grass Megathyrsus maximus fertilized with liquid residuals of pig

Abstract:

The species Megathyrsus maximus is characterized by its great potential of production of biomass and quality. For it, the objective of the present work was to evaluate productive indicators of this plant, when using organic fertilizer to different court ages. The investigation was developed in the km 16 of the Sacred road Domingo, Quinindé, located geographically to the 0°13'50 south latitude and 79°10'40 longitude west to 605 over sea. It was carried out a cut of uniformity at 10cm of the floor before beginning the experiment. Parcels of 20 m2 settled down. A design was used at random in blocks with factorial arrangement 4x3. The experiment was fertilized with 0, 3000, 4000 and 5000 liter of having leached /ha, to the 30, 45 and 60 days of harvesting. The yield green matter was evaluated (YHM), dry (YDM), the percentage (DM) and plants for square meter. Crude Protein (CP) was determined (DM), and Gross Fiber (CF) and Ash. The revenues were informed in freely convertible currency, for the treatments with and without fertilization. Those but high productions of biomasses for hectares were obtained when using the biggest dose of payments. For the chemical composition it happened something similar, highlighting the gross protein in the first evaluated age, the costs and benefits went superior when using 5000 liters in the application. It concluded that the yield, the quality and the revenues for production were increased with the fertilization level.
