Abstract:
This study was conducted in order to assess student achievement of the preparatory courses at the School of Mededicina, on school periods between 1995 and 1997. The total enrollment in these years was 1540, information was collected File faculty Medical Sciences through forms, and survey was applied to students who have completed preparatory latter cycle. Variables that provide data for understanding the variability in the level of student achievement were applied, and objectives, teaching strategies, theoretical and methodological guidelines and evaluation criteria of the preparatory cycle was studied. Analyzed the results obtained has been increasing the number of students from 1995 to 1997, also found that online approval has gone down while ascending line failure, reaching its highest point in the last cycle. Increased number of dropouts found in 1996. cliclo the intoaccount made to students of the last cycle, the critical point was obtained in the different chairs, from which have developed the concluisiones recommendations.
